The Home - School Contract

HOME:

• Access available resources on this website including the curriculum and hegartymaths, so that you are aware of the material your child is using at school
• Check and discuss your children's homework every week and record comments in their diaries if you wish to comment on any subject. 
• Engage with the progress of your child so that everyone is aware of targets and upcoming exams;
• Email  subject teachers if necessary to understand how best to support your child.

SCHOOL:

• Keep the online resources, available on the school website, to support your child in working towards and exceeding their targets;
• Provide a booster maths lessons in the department;
• Provide diagnostic testing for girls in the focus group during the term in Maths and Science target;
• Provide  resit opportunities for members of the Focus Group who require further support and wish to correct misconceptions, review topics tested and improve their scores;
• Provide CPD opportunities for teachers of your children to improve teaching for Mastery and enjoyment of mathematics.
• Create workshops to provide extra motivation for the students. For example, outside expert speakers and/or field trips. ​
